Undefeated Bauer made it 16 straight wins, as they easily knocked off Titan. Jason Ricci and Steve C. struggled on defense for Titan.
Tyler Bullock opened the scorinug for Bauer, as he looked to repeat as a
champ this season. Mic Curran scored four and Ryan Andrews and Chris
Swanson each had two in the cupcake win over a flat Titan team. |
7:30pm
2nd and 3rd place met here to see who would play Bauer. Three late goals by TPS tied the game at 5-5. But a goal with 21 seconds left by Mahoney made it 6-5. TPS didn't give up, a goal with just 2 seconds left sent us to OT, where of all people, Mark Dakhlian scored the winner for Jofa. |

This was close for a period or so, then Bauer ran out of gas. Brian Estrela was playing like Tyler Bova, carrying Jofa to the title, handing Bauer their only loss of the season. Rob McHugh was outstanding in net for Jofa, and we think Greg Good had a goal or two. Meanwhile, poor Eddie Cain has gone 15 years without a championship, and if a 16-0 team can't do it, then what will ??? |

Rob McHugh - Jofa A great job by Robbie to be the only goalie to knock off Bauer this season. |
Mark Dakhlian - Jofa Scored the OT winner to get the team to the finals. |
Ed Cain - Bauer He may be the only guy in the league to play more than 10 years and never win it all, but he's still a champion in our book. |
