This win by Canada moved them back into a 3 way first place tie. Without Mayo, Canada's offense was red hot. Jay Surette even started a new scoring streak. Johnny Andrews and Johnny Ice were both flat for Kazakhstan. Which made Greg Good look like Ovi with 3 goals in the loss. |
7:30pm
Djibouti got scoring from Holmes and cheerleading from Cip, as they picked up their 2nd win of the season. It was a bad loss for Zimbabwe, as they had a chance to take soul possession of first place, but now are in a 3 way tie for first with 2 other teams on their heels. |

Switzerland is the 2nd worst team in the league, but played like they were in 6th place. They scored 12, and barely hung on for the win. Mahoney took the first two periods off, before channelling his inner Niemi, and led his team to an 8 goal third period. They came up a bit short according to the scoreboard which was not working. |
9:30pm
First place Russia was missing their best guy and also Dan Lopes, and took a really hard loss here against the ugraded Finland team. Tyrone and DeVincent subbed in for Finlands worst guy's, and that may have swung the game in their favor. |
